The "Mexican" method was conceived by Professor Hector Hernandez and is an augmentation of the standard icosaheral subdivision method that reduces the number of chord factors required in any given frequency. The number of unique chord factors equals the frequency when using the mexican method, with standard icosahedral subdivision the unique chord factors increase exponentially with the increase in frequency.
