A schwedler stle dome is made up of two sets of struts some that emanate from the poles that look like spokes on a wheel viewed from above, the rest form horizontally rings around the dome at different heights. The vertices are formed by the intersection of these two sets of struts, all the faces are trapezoid except the top ring which is made up of triangle faces.
