Hi. I''m developing a script that generates the vertex coordinates and topology for general geodesic domes, so that''s ellipsoidal domes of any frequency based on any platonic solid in any of vertex-up, face-up and edge-up orientations. It''s called Dromedary and it lives here - emilyware.co.uk/Dromedary.php - if you''d like to have a play. It''s public domain so you''re free to use it how you like, though there''s no guarantee I''ve got it right! Note that it currently just produces a list of vertex coordinates with topology in a couple of formats. You need to render the output separately to see what it looks like. It still needs work for you to take the output and build a dome from it, but I''m working on that. Thanks Paul for letting me post this here.
