| I''ve come accross Geodesics unlimited as I''m looking into designing and builind a custom dome to use as a stage cover/touring theatre. Does anyone have any experience of this company? thanks | |

Hi, Geodesics unlimited have been around for a good while, I haven't done business with them but they sound like a professional bunch. If you're looking to build a custom dome give us more information about what you're looking for, the members here are collectively very experienced in building dome structures and are glad to help and give advice for free. |

| I am looking to build a metal tubing dome on top of a standard framed wall structure that will fit the bottom of each segment of the dome. I want to build a 21 foot structure out of metal tubing capable of having drill holes through it so that I can attach one by four Cedar to each metal strut and Mount Polly Carbonite windows on the Cedar to seal in a large treehouse type building I'll have constructed underneath it. Does anyone have any idea what size tubing would be best sturdy enough to hold all that polycarbonate and which of the joining systems would be best to make them to each other at the hubs? | |
