Geo-dome on BBC2 it’s not easy being green. A dome kit designed and built here at geo-dome has been featured on the BBC environmental show “it’s not easy being green” Dick Strawbridge and his son James visited the Eden Project for inspiration on bio dome growing. James was attempting to grow year round fruit and veg using hydroponics, although not too successfully this winter. (worst winter for 20 years) I’m sure with some insulation and light he’ll have more luck this year. They both seemed to have great fun putting it together!Watch this episode of it’s not easy being green on BBC Iplayer. Nice one Paul. Friends at work were telling me about this today because I've told them about my dome fascination. Excellent that it was your design. I'll watch that tonight. Simon |
