I thought I would put this thread together to show some domes that people have built using the Geo-Dome plans I love to see dome building projects so if you have built a dome using the plans or if you have been inspired by something on the site post a picture below or send me a photo and I''ll post it for you. Christian from Romania sent some pictures of his GD27. I bought from you G27 project in September and yesterday I have finished the construction, and I send you some pictures. In Romania is the first greenhouse geodome, and I am proud that I have built it. I congratulate you for the project. Because I sat it on a circular foundation, I had to build the door outwards, as shown in photo. I used polycarbonate that I glued with an adhesive on triangles. Then I put adhesive tape over the joint between the triangles.

Elvis Halilovic sent this picture of a group of domes he built for a project in Slovenia. Greetings Paul, I'm about to finish this project in Slovenia in the capital Ljubljana, there will be 4 domes linked together with tunells and wind catchers, for a childrens winter playground.  He worked out how to build the domes using the dome calculator.

Here's a picture of a GD27 covered in polycarbonate with a custom raised base. I think this ones in Wyoming.

This is a dome frame in mid construction over a grain silo to make a glazed library.

| I am interested in the gd62 plans, but would like some more details on the construction. Are 2"x4"s used or other size of wood? Design for windows and door? Is the bottom flat, or is a means for compensating built into the plans. How is the frame covered with a clear cover material for a greenhouse? Is there someone who can answer these questions? Tried to find an email address for the company, but have not seen one yet. Thanks. | |

This is a GD27 kit but instead of the standard double doors it has a rather nice asymmetric door.

This is a duck run made by covering a solaris dome frame with wire netting instead of polythene.   |

This is a GD27 Also with a netted cover to stop animals damaging crops. Nice white painted frame on this one.   |

This is the biggest dome anyone has built so far! It was an upsized GD62 from 9m to 13m diameter. Just don't build one of these on a windy day.   |

| Hi guys, there really are some super domes here! Can you please tell me how to find out more about doors, especially calculating the placement and strut sizes especially for 4v domes. I'm thinking of a 3M radius on level ground. | |
